About

A Great Lakes adventure company.

Marlsby sells gear and tells stories for life on the lake, with paddleboarding at the center, plus fishing, boating, island hopping, and storms.

The name comes from marl, the calcium carbonate on the lakebed. As the water warms each summer, calcium carbonate comes out of the water itself and turns the lake turquoise. We named the company after it.

The symbol is a baby lake sturgeon. Its family goes back 150 million years, it starts life about an inch long, and it's in no hurry to grow up. Neither are we.

Boards and gear from other brands, shipped straight from the supplier. See the gear.
